Paragliding Cost
At Paraglide Coloma, our novice pilot rating program is designed to make learning to fly both accessible and enjoyable, costing $2,000 to complete. We understand that financial flexibility is important, so we offer payment plans allowing you to pay per session. Additionally, we provide scholarships and local discounts to support our community. To enhance your experience, we encourage you to bring a friend along. If you and a partner sign up together, you can both enjoy exclusive private training sessions and save $500 off your complete training package. Flying is more fun with friends, and our program ensures that you can share this thrilling journey while saving money together!
The training sessions are designed to occur in the late afternoon, extending into the evening hours. Each session lasts approximately three hours in the field, providing hands-on experience essential for skill development. In addition to fieldwork, participants can expect 30 minutes to 1 hour dedicated to debriefing, ground schooling, and lectures, which will reinforce the practical lessons learned. Furthermore, there will be preparation and homework assigned between lessons to ensure that participants are well-prepared for each subsequent session. This structured approach not only enriches the learning experience but also allows for continuous growth and deeper understanding of the material.
At Paraglide Coloma, we provide excellent gear for your introductory lessons, but we also emphasize the importance of securing your own equipment as soon as possible. Consistency is key in paragliding, and using personal gear ensures you can tailor it to your preferences. While we are not yet a gear dealer, we are committed to guiding you in selecting the best equipment that fits your budget and flying ambitions. We understand the value of brand new gear, but we support buying used and can help you acquire everything you need, from wings and harnesses to reserves, radios, flight decks, and helmets.
